Orginally from Savannah, GA, Evan is a University of Georgia graduate and joined the staff in July 2016. He is married to Katie Powell, who teaches 1st grade at Cedar Ridge Elementary in Grovetown, GA. Evan and Katie got married in July 2015 and they now enjoy taking road trips, going to sporting events, watching Netflix, and eating mac and cheese together. Evan cheers faithfully and fantaically for the Dawgs, but his trust in the Lord is not shaken by their recent lack of championships. Evan desires to be more like Christ in all things and enjoys teaching midding and high school stuents about the love of God.
